Bruce: Scientific American is listed in the Reader's Guide from that time. Sci-Am Ask the librarian if the Reader's guide goes back that far. It is just like looking up a modern publication. As is usual I can not reproduce them either, they are in the same place, but only the very early ones. I think if I find any later ships like the QM or the Normadie, I think they are on the shelf.
The other magazines will be listed in the front uder their abbreviations.
Sorry if I sound a bit high handed in my post, but it is just as frustrating to me, to be sitting there knowing and thinking to myself, "Man Bruce would love this!"
If you-all can't find it, I will put that on my list. But I think if you look in the reader's guide and then check the other magazines to see if they are present, you might find a lot more at the Chicago Public Library. Sincerely,
