Just change the message id (the last field) in the URL that is now in your browser address box from the number that is currently there to "708" and you won't have to type in the whole URL. I will also try putting an active link in this response, but sometimes it doesn't post correctly.

There are also some messages earlier than Loren's that discuss similar techniques for making water using artist's gesso.

Also, the 2000 issue of "Great Scale Modeling," the Fine Scale Modeler annual, has several 1/600 ships on water bases and a discussion of the modeling technique using "celluclay."
