ye, the 1/570 is an excellent warm up to the 1/350, and makes that scale go so much easier. You figure if you can do it at 1/570, you can CERTAINLY do it at 1/350! :-)
It was a hard run doing the 1/570 for the contest, as I had done all the photoetch detail at that tiny scale, the lifeboat guard railings, hydrants, coalng outriggers, scuppers, the decals, endless scratchbuilding, door mats, even the tiny illuminated signs to all the doors on the decks. Shifting now to the 1/350, it will be a piece of cake!
