Did you know that the launching of the Olympic coincided with the Brussels International Exposition of 1910! An exhibition of everything mechanical that can be imagined including things to fix ships, a likely source of information on propeller spanners, propellers, etc.

Also during this time was The Naval, Mercantile Marine, and General Engineering and Machinery Exhibition in Olympia. there are several articles on yachts where they tried out oil driven engines at this exhibition. And motorized life boats.

Accumulators are pumping engines, to pump water. There was a long article entitled Accumulators and other pumping engines.

August 6, 1906 article on Transporting the Stern Frame of the Olympic with photographs. The North Eastern Railway had a special train complete with a crane attached to the car to hold up a 70 ton piece of the stern and moved it on August 1st. from Darlington Forge Co.

The Welin Davit was in the July 1, 1910 issue complete with a diagram of Olympic's bridge and forward boat deck displaying two rows of boats. Good diagrams of the davits better than the patent.

The following is a list of plates from October 21, 1910 to Novemeber 18, 1910 issues of Engineering Most phtographs are 5" X 71/2":
