The Olympic classed ships were not the only H&W ships to have these types of domes installed. You need to visit Stewart's Olympic site and see the picture he has of the Calgaric's dome that is in a building in the U.K. It is not the same as the Olympic's but close. If the link works below, take a look. Stewart and I communicate quite frequently and he is quit proud of his crusade to find the lost fittings of the Olympic. So much so that I call him Sterwart the Lionhearted. Anyways, there are obscure pictures of the Olympic in existence but they are scattered through 30 years of Commutators and in private collections. The book that would contain the name of the manufacturers of the Olympic class domes is in a collection and will probably never be seen by the public. I will not go into this as like Mark said, it is a real shame! Some where in a Shipbuilder, there should be an advertisement for the manufacturers. I have adds for the people who built the lights and sconces as well as other things, but the dome will be shrouded in mystery unless I can come across it in one of my books. This is the other problem, I have so many damn books now, that I can't find some of the BOOKS themselves. When I get the chance, if I do, I will look through some of the old Commutators for a manufacturers reference.
