Good point James. Now if we can just find out who actually built the dome, we might be in business. You have access to Engineering. Any chance that they would have said so in there? Maybe an ad? I would think that a company that built them for such a "showpiece", they would advertise it. Everyone else did, from cabinet knobs to light fixtures to stoking indicators. "As seen on Titanic and Olympic".
I would still think that H & W would at least have kept some sort of record of it though. For instance, I have plans for the davits, but they were made by Welin. The plans aren't very detailed though. More of a reference for sizes.
