Hi all,
first of all I want to wish anybody MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
I want to thank all of you who ordered my plans in the last year, who supported me and who made this a really successful thing for Bruce and me.
The new year shouldn't start with any new ideas so I thought about something special for you scartchbuilders out there.
I plan on producing a fibre glass hull and CNC-milled parts from my CAD-drawing, so that I will be able to offer a basement kit for all, who are afraid of doing this by themselves. This kit might contain a hull, all decks and walls, maybe the funnels and a set of my plans. I also think about photo etch parts for windows and railings, but I have none who can do this till now.
I will do this in the scale 1:144 or maybe 1:192, because the hull must be small enough for being send out into the world. I have no idea what it will cost, because I still search for someone who makes the hull for me in a small serial.
My intention why I tell you this is, that I want to know, if anybody on this board is interested in such a kit. If nobody answers on this, that
wouldn't mean I don't do it, but I care about your opinion in this project.
Please give me some comments in this.
