I used 3 different sizes. 10lbs for heavy (base of masts) 4 for general rigging (masts, funnels, etc) and 1 for extreme light (antennas). Even though it doesnt have that twist shape of a cable it produce an excellent effect. You can see the difference between heavy and meddium/light rigging.

: I tested using fishing line but i didn't like it because it hadn't any of that twisted shape that cable is suppose have. So my next option was to use nylon thread that they use to make clothes (not ordinary sewing thread!!!) I used a grayish colour to represent black cable from far away and it looks very good. It also doesn't mind moisture coz its almost pure nylon.
