That's what I use. Make sure you don't spray too hard, otherwise you'll fill the space between the bars with paint.
You might also like to apply a think "misting" of grey primer before you apply the white.
Finally, always soak your brass sets in soapy water before you use them, to remove any grease or other dirt.
