If there were enlarged images of the three ships, there would have to be text either below the photograph or on it explaining some of this stuff. There are pictures that show the entrance door to the C deck 2nd class promenade on the Olympic's aft well deck, for instance, that would be the same on the Titanic, but I wouldn't want people to think they have to add the tall cowls coming out of the #4 hold covers that would also be visible in the photograph from a 1930's Olympic. Do all of you understand? In other words, there would need to be explanations and in some cases, text written on the photographs. I don't want people to start looking over or around the subject matter in certain picture because something in the background may not be accurate to the Titanic. This is really true in the later Olympic pictures. They added a lot of weird stuff on that ship.

I would like to hear from Sean, Mike and Russ as to how we would share these pictures amongst the three websites, and who has the time to do this. Will it get expensive? I know nothing about ISP's. If there were a picture gallery of high resolution scans, is there a MB limit? I suppose I could super enlarge an area on my scanner, and then resample the resolution form that to knock down the size.
