I found a difference in the port and starboard sides of the hull where it concerns the above mentioned devices. First off, there were two separate devices with cross members on the sides of the hull. The lower of these devices are the eye plates as seen on the rigging plans. The starboard side eye plates had cross members that were mounted vertical, while the port sides were mounted horizontal. The mooring cleats were smaller and located in areas approx. two strake or plate spaces above. These can get confusing and the rigging plans do not show the mooring cleats.
