Toms model works has some parts (funnel platforms) that come out of nowhere. I have no idea what ship those are for. His sky light covers are inaccurate with the hole punch out in the direct center. Tom's has the front details of the davits which are kind of neat but I don't know if they fit. Otherwise, the pieces are the same I think. I do believe that Loren Perry (GMM)updated the size of the docking bridge wheel, making it more in scale. He also has more accurate stair case covers and better instructions. Oh, I forgot! The new GMM merchant liner set comes with pre-spaced railings to fit the model. This means the cut outs are there for the stairs and the fairleads and so on. the GMM set is far better.
