Here's the result of my quick research - I can now say with reasonable certainty that Britannic didn't have the B-Deck object, because an extra flight of stairs was installed in its place. This suggests to me that it wasn't all that important, as it could be left off without consequence or moved to another location.
It's not much but I'm sure this little piece will fit into the jigsaw somewhere.
