There is a large tank room on C-deck aft of the Turbine room casing. It is above the emergency dynamos on D Deck. Also I found tanks (Tk) alongside the fans next to the boiler room casings, going up the flues.
The Britannic article explained the innovation of a filtered water tank near the engine rooms, before the water was pumped up to the tank rooms.
The proximity of the Turbine casing to this water tank, and the proximity of the room to the bread room and the bakery in the first class galley, (these rooms would be warm to promote the fast rising of bread), make me believe this C-deck tank room is the hot water tank. The emergency engine dynamoes would have given off a lot of heat, if used. More likely, the turbine room heat, and the steam from the boilers could be directed with accessibility for plumbers from the turbine engine room floor below.
There were 350 waste pipes on each side of Titanic and Olympic.
It is a treasure hunt, to find these things.
