There may be a more modern source of information on this color. The motorship Britannic was in service in her original WSL colors until 1960. I wonder if Cunard's archives might contain any information of the color or the supplier from whom they obtained the paint? I know Cunard has a history of being careless with WSL records, but one has to wonder.
