When I was nine or ten I got a paint sample from Sears called "Indian Buff" - I matched it to paint the funnels of my Revell kit. I mailed a sample to THS and they said it was a match for "White Star Buff."
This "Indian / White Star Buff" is a tan with a slight peach tone. No pink or yellow tints at all.
This sample is twenty years old so posting the paint color numbers would be of no use. I will take this with me to Sears in a few days to see if I can match it to a current sample. I will post the paint numbers from a matching current sample so everyone can get their own. Best to all, Robert.
