Bob, you have brought up one of my biggest gripes! I think people are getting too careless with the language. So many words and phrases that seem uncomfortable to me are springing up. How about "grow the economy" -- that always sounds wierd to me. Someone on the Titanic newsgroup is using the word (?) suicided! As in, he suicided... These examples really jar me everytime I run across them. Some of them just seem like good old doublespeak! I think *accurized* falls into this same category! 8>) We know what it is supposed to mean, but it just doesn't seem or sound right.
