I'm just wondering why people sit around with a candle, lighter, or heat gun trying to pull thin threads of sprue when Evergreen Plastics has a complete line of injection molded or formed plastic.
Considering the money I've spent on each model I've built over the years, spending $2.00 on a pack of .010 plastic strips or tubes or whatever is a hell of a lot easier (and I think my time is worth it) than playing around burning my fingers, agrivating myself when things just dont pull right, or smelling hot plastic (mixing with the already toxic spray and airbrushed paint fumes).
Just something I've never understood. If you're going to build the model right you're going to invest a lot of time and money anyway... is it really worth saving a couple bucks?
