I used the plans in Engineering Magazine from 1911. I found this in the SMU Library, and most major Universities, particularly with an Engineering Department should have these books lying around somewhere. Also you may have seen folks selling "Titanic Plans" on the web, when in fact they are the old Engineering Magazine Plans. They have great schematics of the Engine Rooms!
I just read the plans to determine the curves of the hull. You can register the decks over each other by determining where the hatches are and by the staircases. The curves of the hull are just simply each deck built atop the other. You have to measure the height of the ceilings and use the water-tight bulkheads as a starting place for registering the different decks atop each other. I went to Architecture School, so I may have an advantage in thinking three dimensionally.
