I just received a copy of the "Blue Jacket Ship Crafters" catalog. They are located in Stockton, Maine.
I would suggest that everyone get in touch with them and get a copy of their catalog. They make ship model kits in wood, but they have pages and pages of cast metal ship fittings, and other accessories, many of which I think might be adaptable to Titanic modeling.
These fittings are cast in what they call Britannia pewter and they have such things as blocks, mastbands, prop blades, anchors, binnacles, bollards, lifeboats, steering stands, telegraphs, capstans, chains of various sizes, watertight doors, gratings, masthead lights, a pelorus, ships steering wheels, mushroom vents, gooseneck ventilators, cowls in 11 different configurations (different cowl diameters and pipe diameters), ships whistles, winches, brass companionway ladders, rigging cord of all sizes (in linen, cotton, nylon thread, silkspan, twisted metal wire, soft brass wire, annealed steel wire)as well as tools, and even wooden mounting bases and pedestals.
Again, these are generally for their wooden ship models which may be not to Titanic scale but once you look in the catalog, these items might be adaptable for use in our Titanic models. For all of their cast metal fittings they give the item # with the size in height and in some cases the diameter of the piece, if necessary.
I strongly suggest you contact them at:

(The cast metal fittings are not listed on the website, only in their catalog)
They also make fantastic-looking wooden ship models and have a ton of books related to that part of the hobby.
Check them out, order their catalog and let me know what you all think.
