Robert:
Let me add my welcome to you. You may be remote geographically but that's all. With an internet connection to this board you'll have access to some of the better modelers and historians around.
Also with an internet connection you have access to any of the myriad online hobby stores. The only problem with that is you can't actually look at products. No problem. If you need a product to fit a particular need just post a message here and somebody will let you know what you need and where to get it. We're pretty easy to get along with here. We've all been novice modelers at one time and we're all still learning things about the Titanic.
Regards,

: Thanks for the welcome, Mike, you have a great sence of humor. Needed a good laugh. I've peeked through some of the notes, and was wondering if all of you are modeling buffs, or TITANIC buffs or both as Iam? Out here where I live theres not much in the way of modeling compitions, or even hobbie stores. I think the best source for modelling here is Hobbie Lobby, and thats not much. To answer Dennis's question about the cat hair and painting, no Ididn't. Ihad to do my painting in my garage, and here in Kansas I had more problems with cottonwood seeds blowinb around and sticking. Yuck, thank god for sand paper! Robert A
