There are lots of theings you can blame, and lots that could have saved it, little things.
: On todays ships things are ran so differently. Had the Titanic been built like a modern day cruise ship, with double skin, bulkheads that go all the way up to nearly the top. It is things like this that make todays ships safer than those of yesteryear. If the titanic was equiped with abigger rudder she could make it, also if she was ran full AHEAD, and not full astern when the berg was sited she would have been able to turn fastre and sharper, running fuul astern was a big mistake by Murdoch, but he was just acting by instinct.
: If teh Titanic hadn't sank it would ahve taken another ship to sink before lifeboats were considered as a need rather than an alturnitive, the we would have been talking about that ship instead, so I guess it had to happen, it was just whta god wanted to happen and we can do nothing about it now, but take great interest in it, and an interesting subject it is.
