titanic safety

I'm curious about modern day cruise ships. I'm sure the builders have learned from the Titanic
disaster and build them safer today. One obvious thing would be to have sufficient number of life
boats for number of passengers. But what about the actual structure of the ship itself. I guess
my question is: could they have built the Titanic different so it could withstand the same impact? The subject fascinates me
