Horizontal handrails could be
: etched into the walls if enough of you would want
: this. Otherwise, I could leave them off and you
: could make your own from wire or stretched sprue.
: Or maybe (this is a BIG maybe) I could etch locater
: holes in the bulkheads and include pre-sized handrails
: to be installed into these holes by the modeler.
: But at this thickness, getting a precise hole diameter
: and handrail thickness might be tricky. It would add
: little or nothing to the cost. But they would have
: to be on the same sheet, so if the sheet thickness
: is .013", the rails would be about 4-1/2 scale inches
: thick. If this is acceptable, let me know.

I think the idea of master holes is good. Anything where separate parts allow more "air," if you know what I mean.

Regarding the thickness of the handrails, I would personally substitute slightly undersize guitar string or something, to allow for the thickness of paint.

For window frames, though it magnifies the complexity of the sheets, I agree that separate parts would really allow for super-clean definition of the painted frames.

All I can say is...not matter what you end up doing, based on the quality of your existing works it will be a great addition to the kit!
