Small brackets under stern's overhang

Hmmm.. I was looking through T&sisters and noted a minute detail on the stern that can be seen as she's launched and in several photo's as she's departing.. Looking through Ken Art of Titanic I can find no traces of them in any painting but one of Olympic. A detail /Ken/ Forgot? ;)

Shown on p273 of T&sisters (p 78 of Marriot's Titanic) is a photo of the stern and you can plainly sees those brackets firmly affixed on the starboard side.

You can see them in other photo's too. It appears they were in the same pattern as those on the Olympic.. and the layout can be seen real well in the picture of her being launched ( p116 T&Sisters, P20 Marriot) and of her painted (or already painted p117T&Sisters) They appear to be about the size of those lower porholes and maybe an inch, inch and a half thick.
