I was just wondering if anyone knew why all the deck plans Ive seen always put the aft stairways from B deck to the aft well deck just outboard of the second class entrance running to between the crane platforms and the hold instead of further outboard on the perpendicular part of the deck like all the photographic evidence would indicate.
Are those early construction plans? Is that Olympic's layout? Are those actually stairs below deck that just appear on deck in the plans?
Just curious. The photographs are enough evidence for me to put them where they are modelled but after completeing this model Im thinking about trying for Olympic durring the war (the crazy coloured one from T:Illustrated)
