I'm in the process of reworking the 1/1136 diecast.
I've stripped down the paint, taken it all apart (wow 10 peices)and started cleaning up the parts.
I'm going to keep it simple though, Just a repaint, fix the bridge, add some railings, new mast, new flags & add rigging, add window/door decals, fix the life boats - Oh! and I can't forget about that center anchor!!!
I'm in the same boat with the free time, so I don't plan on going nuts with this thing. Just a nice relaxing model project to keep me busy - no major surgery (I hope).
