It is well worth the price of admission. I cannot even start to explain how awesome it is. Just make sure you go on a weekday when there is not a huge crowd. I went last saturday (day of the whistle blowing) and the crowd was HUGE!!!! But if anyone who has the chance to go, take it. You will not be dissapointed. As for tickets, if I were you, I would just buy them there. I thought there would be big lines and all the tours would be sold out, but the only reason the sell them over the phone and designate times is to cut down on crowds. Plus when you order them over the phone, ticketmaster sucks like $5 more out of the deal for handling fees. So if I was to do it again (and I probably will), I would go on a weekday and just buy my tickets there.
Now, about mystic...... don't do it. Go to Hinckley instead. It is about and hour north of the cities. Just take 35 north until you reach Hinckley. Take a right and follow that road until you see it on your right. Much better casino. Hope this helped!
