Hi all,
First off, I'd like to apologize for one thing, some of you may have noticed long delays in my e-mail replies. The reason for it is that I've been so busy preparing for the anniversary, and work. I think after you hear what I have planed, you'll understand.
I'll start the big bang off with a "Year in Review" page. This will cover everything the page has been through in the last year. Including what the page looked like when it first opened up. This has kept me the busiest.
Second, I'll make an official announcment (sometimes shortly after the 2nd) for the new contest. "What are the prizes?" you ask. How about a "Ken Marschall's Art of Titanic" book? Not too exciting is it? Well, what if I told you it was autographed by Ken Marschall himself? Now thats exciting! It doesn't end there. The prize will also include a full set of GMM (Gold Medal Models)detail parts for the Titanic. With the GMM set, you will also recieve a GMM handbook signed by Loren Perry.
I'll round out the anniversary with a completly new Titanic Modeling Guide put together by some of our regulars. There will be over 430 changes in the guide. More details to come.
I will also be holding a chat session on or around the anniversary date. Right now, I'm planning on the following Friday (the 5th). I'll let you know.
