: Stephen,
: It would be hard to say with 100% certainty, but the date of completion and location of construction sound right. If you can find out the exact location of that model, please post it. You are in the UK, if memory serves me? There are numerous members of the various Titanic societies there that would love to get a look at that model, some of whom may wish to photograph that model and publish the photos in their journals. The Californian was a small vessel of around 5000 tons with four masts and a single funnel. If this is in fact Stanley Lord's Californian, I'm sure there would be some interest in photos of that model by some of us on this board. Good photos of the ship showing any real detail are practically nonexistant.

: Scott
The model is in the foyer of the Glasgow Moat House Hotel (next to the Conference Centre). I will try to get through to Glasgow at the weekend to get some pictures.
You may wish to hold on till next week, for me to confirm it is Lord's ship before you plan excursions to Glasgow!
Regards,
Stephen.
