I raised this question some time ago and I came to the conclusion that the door existed based on the Eaton and Haas plan on the inside cover of Triumph & Tragedy. I'm sure there's also a photo reference in one of the books somewhere. I'll let you know if I find it.
Comparing the two plans comes down to a question of validity. Which was the more correct in this instance? The E & A plan lends itself to possibly being more accurate simply because the bulkhead is drawn with some depth rather than a straight line.
Just food for thought.
