In addition to the tanks in the rooms p&s that Bruce mentioned, we must not forget the skylight for the reciprocating engine room. This was esentially a hatch that went from the boat deck down to the reciprocating engine room to provide light and ventilation. The panels of this skylight were centrally located on top of the tank room. One question I have always had is the number and location of pipes which penetrated the roof on both sides of the tank room. I have never seen a clear photo of this arrangement. I have no reason to assume that the arrangement on the Minicraft model is either right or wrong. If anyone has any more definitive information it would probably be breaking some new ground if it were authoritative.
