Derek, the two best photos I have seen is the one Ballard found on the wreck which can be seen in a close up in Discovery Of The Titanic and the other is on page 102 od Lynch's Illustrated History. Though the I.H. photo is not the Titanic the positioning was the same as you can witness in any uncropped Cork Examiner's photos (page 39 Illustrated History for example - which IS the Titanic). Anyway if you are looking at the page 102 photo, check at the base of the davit near its center on the deck just to the right of the belaying bit. Shaped slightly like a teapot. The Ballard photo shows its red colour. Cheers, Mike
