Boat deck iron work plan from H&W

I just received the boat deck construction plan and it clears up a couple minor things, or not.

The little port holes down below the windows of the officers quarters just off the deck are called "skid lights". ("sky lights" being in the roof, "dead lights" being in the deck, and "side lights" being port holes). There's a sloped plate in the officer's rooms and the skid light lets in light to a 21" skylight in the inner cabins on A-deck below. There are 7 on the starboard side, interrupted by Smith's bathroom, and 8 on the portside. They only existed in the offiecer's quarters, not passenger rooms.

Someone asked about the arrangement of the area around the officer's showers and the codes on the common deck plans. Port to starboard, the plans show Lavitory, bathroom, l, OS, and L. The lowercase L fore of the bath is a locker, thestarboard L is linen, and the OS is oil skins. I don't know what oilskins are used for.

All the raised roofs are surrounded by a 7" wide drain, or gutter, in the deck that shows in pictures. There was also a 6" drain down the sides. These drains appear to be gray like the funnel bases but that's just a guess.

For Bob, the bridge wheelhouse footings are the for Oly as seen in the Marriott book, but with a straight front. There's a hand sketched curve to the front in the shape of what is seen in the marriot book. This indicates it was a mod.

The stairway just behind the #3 funnel is marked as a change for Titanic dated 26/9/11.
