: I am searching for an authentic-looking, good quality model of the Titanic, already assembled, that I could display on a bookshelf, mantlepiece, etc, but the only ones I can locate cost $2500!! Far more than I can afford! I would be willing to pay about $250 for a nice one, if that is reasonable??
: If anyone knows where I might be able to find such a piece, would you please let me know. I may be reached either at my e-mail, listed here, or by phone.
: I live in Tallahassee, FL, and my phone number is (850) 878-3276. Thanks very much!
What I'm wondering is why you don't assemble it yourself....:) The model is only $50-$70, the accessories you can buy aren't all that expensive, and there's nothing like the warm, contented feeling you get from looking at your model and knowing you did it yourself.......:)
Anyway, there MIGHT be people who would build one for you, provided YOU pay for the materials, model, accessories, etc., plus a fee for the time spend assembling it.....
