To say that putting "glass" in the windows gives some life to the model is an understatement. I got a sheet of clear plastic from the hobby shop and put it behind every window on the ship. The glass brings a distinct sparkle to the model which is absolutely beautiful. It takes a little time to install the plastic, but the results are well worth it. Don't leave the windows as gapping holes - as far as I'm concerned, the installation of the glass is mandatory.
