Titanic model from scratch

I would like to say that I am glad this site is now recognizing
us scratch builders. I have been working on a Titanic model from
scratch for a month and a half now. I am very impressed with Michael Cooks
behemoth, and I wanted to build one that big but my fiancee
didn't want that monster in the living room, so mine is only three feet long.
I am building it in much the same manner, except I used
1/4th inch foam board for the frame and thin poster board for the
outer planking. The worst part has been the railings, because
I am using white thread and super glue, because os the smallness of my model.
I am still trying to figure out how I will do the lifeboats, and I would appreciate
any ideas anyone may have.
