Since reading this original post I have been trying to find a reasonable solution. I thought, (not yet tried) that maybe pressing something like fimo onto the promenade
windows to create a imprint of the area and then poor a resin into the mold to create a new section. Then cut away the bad area and glue in the new one.
Just a thought. I will try it out and let you know.
