Promenade lighting

If someone out there has ever used "Light Sheet" or knows a method of lighting the ceilings on the promenade deck please post your results. I'm going to light my Titanic model but I don't want light just portholes and windows.
In Ken Marschall's excellent book, "Titanic, and Illustrated History", his illustrations clearly show lighting all around the exterior that seems difficult to replicate. Maybe it's just my obsession with detail, but I want these areas lit.
One more note. For creating the bow anchor and other complex small parts, use a clay product called "Fimo". You may already know of it. It's not clay, but a plastic-like substance that's pliable and sculptable before baking in a conventional oven. After, it's hardened and durable. Give it a try.
Best of luck and success
